The next wave of online Skills Bootcamps from the HBXL Skills Academy kicks off at the start of September.
These Bootcamps are backed by the Government’s Skills for Life programme, helping builders access vital upskilling opportunities. They’re either fully-funded or 90% funded, depending on the business set-up.
The training is two-fold. It teaches the desk-based skills that building companies are looking for, whilst giving owners the tools to manage their businesses effectively.
There’s a choice of three practical, high-impact courses: Estimating, Business Management, and CAD for Construction. Each course runs for two hours in the afternoon, twice a week, totalling 60 hours. Mentoring follows completion.
Joanna Mulgrew, the HBXL Skills Academy lead, explains “Over the past three years we’ve helped transform small building firms through improved digital skills that they can put into practice instantly. Our attendees complete the course recognising that success is made on their laptop – not just on site.”
At a time of economic uncertainty, the need for smarter ways of working has never been greater. These unique Skills Bootcamps are designed to help smaller construction companies boost productivity, sharpen their skills, and build resilience for the future.
