Manufactured in the UK using 75 per cent recycled content, Envirotile provides a lightweight, easy-to-install interlocking roof tile system. Available in two finishes – standard and a textured slate effect – both of which are available in four colours, the tile has 20 per cent of the weight of a concrete roof tile and can be used on roof pitches as low as 12.5°.

It’s the glass-to-edge technology on the Velux Low Pitch roof window that allows water to run off the roof easily, whilst the aluminium profile provides a smart drainage system. The specially designed flashing and the extra wide apron ensures a watertight construction of the roof window in low pitch roofs even down to 10°, and there’s a 10-year product warranty.

Prefabricated Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) products, such as bay window roofs, door canopies and dormers, are enabling the construction industry to work far more efficiently, according to Stormking. The easy to install range of offsite GRP component products can be delivered in either their entirety or in a limited number of component pieces.

Practical, live demonstrations and the opportunity for builders to speak directly with technical experts are just a couple of the reasons to attend a Setcrete trade demonstration day. The manufacturer of high-performance floor levelling compounds and preparation products will be hosting the events at builders’ merchants across the UK.

Central Heating Treatment

An effective three stage solution to clean, protect and test central heating and hot water systems is how Sika Everbuild is describing its new Central Heating Treatment System. It comprises a range of targeted solutions to solve the most common cause of heating breakdowns – accumulations of limescale, sludge, bacteria, mould and rust.

The neo Advance Skywalk+ includes triple ply laminated glass, laminated inner and anti-slip coating as standard. The domestic walk on unit from The Rooflight Company also features a durable aluminium frame and patented Thermal Shield technology, improving thermal efficiency, protecting against condensation, and allowing for a U-value as low as 1.19 W/m2k.

Avenir Roofing is now the exclusive UK distributor of the Lineflex Fleece Backed EPDM flat roofing solution. Available in two thicknesses Lineflex is a heavy-duty solution. The membranes are laminated to a tough polyester reinforcement layer which increases durability as well as improving tear and puncture resistance.

Whatever the project, KRM Carpentry from Gillingham, Kent, always uses West Fraser‘s CaberDek flooring. “We fix the boards with CaberFix D4 as it gives a good bond and creates a water-tight seal between the panels. The boards are really hardwearing and it’s good to leave the protective film on until the end of the job so we leave the build with a nice clean floor!” said Kai, owner of KRM Carpentry.

Splashback panels are a no-fuss alternative to tiles that are fire retardant, waterproof, scratch resistant and easy to fit. The Alloy range from Wilsonart features 12 patterned, aluminum solutions that can be used wall-to-wall or simply as a hob panel, or installed across the entire width of the kitchen for an uninterrupted design.

There’s two new finishes, an improved drawer system, more space, new hinges and upgrades to the internal panels on Geberit’s Renova Plan bathroom furniture. Now available in Hickory Light and Hickory – in addition to existing White high gloss coated and Lava matt coated – the new colours match those available in the company’s Selnova Square S product.
