Glass wool tea cosy put to the test

Can glass wool insulation keep a pot of tea hotter than a traditional tea cosy?

That is the question that will be put to the test live on Facebook this week, as insulation manufacturer Superglass tests its ultimate tea cosy creation against a traditional version.

The experiment will find out whether a tea cosy made of 87 per cent recycled glass wool will keep a pot of tea hotter for longer than a knitted cosy.

The fun starts at 10am on Thursday 17th January and will be broadcast live from Superglass’s Facebook page.

Tune in to find out if the building material tea cosy can keep the best builders’ brew boiling.
