For the third year running, IronmongeryDirect has been recognised as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ 2022 by Great Place to Work® and has ranked 100th in the medium-sized business category. The award is the latest in a series of accolades for the specialist supplier, having recently achieved the 2022 Outstanding Award for Customer Satisfaction by In-house Research Ltd, and named as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing 2022 by Great Place to Work®.

 Organised and managed by The Great Place to Work® institute, the Best Workplaces™ Award recognises companies that promote a healthy workplace environment through management credibility, respect, fairness, trust, pride and camaraderie. Anonymous employee surveys and assessments gauged levels of trust in the company and their colleagues, as well as the organisation’s HR and leadership practices, policies and culture.

With a keen emphasis on creating a working environment that fosters positive customer experiences, the Essex based trade supplier has enjoyed several honours over recent months that underpin this commitment. Notably, the company recently received the Best Workplace™ for Wellbeing Award from Great Place to Work® in recognition of its efforts in creating a workplace where employees feel healthier and happier, with the opportunity to thrive in their day to day working life.

The award is accredited to companies that achieve a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 70 or above, based on customer feedback during 2021.
