To determine the shortlist, the Great Place to Work® institute analysed anonymous employee surveys to gauge their levels of wellbeing at work. The survey assessed holistic experiences such as, work-life balance, sense of fulfilment, as well as job satisfaction and psychological and financial security. Of the 250 companies shortlisted, IronmongeryDirect ranked 86th in the medium-size category.
At a time when 56.4% of UK employees are reported to suffer from work-related stress, the Best Workplaces™ for Wellbeing Awards are an important spotlight on companies that go the extra mile to create a thoughtful wellbeing strategy that aims to serve as inspiration and encourage others to follow suit.
