Piccolo Setts from Aggregate Industries is a premium concrete block paving product that combines traditional aesthetics with modern materials, offering a direct alternative to Dutch clay pavers.
This new slimline block paving solution produces around 50% less carbon compared to traditional clay pavers, aligning with Aggregate Industries’ commitment to reducing carbon emissions across its product range. Whilst the paving can be utilised for commercial projects, the new addition to the growing Bradstone brand is also perfect for domestic purposes, including driveways and garden patios.
Manufactured in the UK, Piccolo Setts not only reduce environmental impact but also meet growing market demand for sustainable construction solutions. One of the features of Piccolo Setts is their ability to replicate the timeless look of Dutch clay pavers, thanks to Aggregate Industries’ advanced colour mixing technology. Available in four custom blended colour ranges – Terracotta, Sepia, Smoke, and Twilight – each paver is unique, providing a beautiful tonal mix that enhances the visual appeal of any project.
The product is also designed for versatility, supporting numerous laying patterns that make it suitable for a variety of architectural and landscaping projects. The nib free profile enhances the true replica of clay with the greater consistency of concrete over clay meaning a reduction in time and labour costs on site.
Neil Bills, General Manager for the Concrete Products Landscaping Division at Aggregate Industries, comments: “The launch of Piccolo Setts marks an exciting evolution in our product offering, providing a much-needed, sustainable alternative to traditional clay pavers without compromising on looks or performance. We’re proud to offer a solution that not only provides a unique aesthetic but also supports the construction industry’s drive towards greener building practices. The innovative product meets the evolving needs of the market while supporting Aggregate Industries’ broader sustainability goals, offering a product that is as beautiful as it is environmentally responsible.”
