Stunning home renovation using Sieger systems to maximise natural light.

Stunning home renovation in Kent featuring a Sieger Slim Sliding Door and Sieger Lux Casement Door to maximise natural light. The secondary building to this home was rarely used until it was transformed into a modern and chic living space that is connected to the main home by a glass link.

The use of natural wood flooring and maximising the natural light through slim framed aluminium glazing systems are strong displays of biophilic design, giving the space a strong connection to the outdoors.

The flush threshold of the Sieger Slim Sliding Door means that when the doors are open the internal living space is merged with the outdoors, providing a seamless transition between the two spaces.

To the side of the newly renovated home is a Sieger Lux Casement Door used as another entry point. The large clear glass pane and dark slim aluminium framing complement the surrounding traditional brickwork, contrasting slightly for a modern touch.

Jak Patterson, the project manager of this job, said that he “would love to have a home like this myself! Homes that have glass walls like this always look great and the home’s filled with so much light now.”

IQ Glass, Sieger’s glazing partner, provided a design and installation service for this development using Sieger aluminium glazing systems. Glazing systems mentioned are available to buy straight from the Sieger factory and from IQ Glass in the UK.
