Gary Anderson has a pipe dream of regaining his World Championship title thanks to a tie-up with McAlpine Plumbing Products, the UK’s leading manufacturer of plastic plumbing products.
‘The Flying Scotsman’, as Gary is known, has linked up with McAlpine since 2018 as he fights to grab back his top status on the oche, and narrowly missed out on a third PDC World Darts Championship in 2021. Like Gary Anderson, McAlpine is proud of its Scottish heritage and since 1907 has manufactured its products in the West of Scotland.
“McAlpine is a fabulous company with its heart and soul in Scotland and it is no secret that I’m very passionate about my country and I’ve never forgotten my roots. McAlpine is a remarkable success story for Scotland and most people in the UK will probably have some McAlpine products installed in their home. McAlpine started manufacturing plumbing products in 1907 and in 1957 was the first UK company to manufacture Plastic Traps. It recently launched its first ever product not to be a plastic fitting, MACXSEAL, the only sealant and adhesive tested and approved for use on its own products.
