Shurtape UK is adding to its portfolio of extra strong professional repair tapes, with the launch of T-Rex Waterproofing and Repair Tape.
Combining extra strength with mouldable stretch, the new tape instantly seals out water, air and moisture. Thin (10ml), and easy to conform, it can be stretched and repositioned to hold in extreme weather conditions, as it is UV resistant and able to withstand
temperatures from -40˚F to 240˚F. It can also work underwater.
The product is very easy to use, with no backing to remove. The user simply cuts, wraps and seals, applying it to a range of surfaces, from concrete to wood to plastic. It’s easy-mould application means it is perfect for hard to reach, contoured or textured surfaces, for both temporary and permanent fixes, as its adhesive system is formulated with an aggressive, UV solventless acrylic which won’t break down over time, instead creating a stronger long-term bond. As well as offering an overall increased performance in a quicker time frame for the user, this UV production is also a more sustainable, quicker production method, using less energy consumption and reducing the product’s carbon footprint.

T-Rex Waterproofing and Repair Tape is available in white and will soon launch in black and clear variants. The 48mm X 9.14m roll is being offered to retailers and merchants in display packs of six. Shurtape is supporting its launch with a proactive marketing campaign to drive awareness and footfall / traffic to buy.
