For the latest episode of the Professional Builder Podcast, we speak with Chris Middleton, General Manager of the Construction Fixings Association, on why fixing best practice is important.
Established in 1979, and incorporated in 2007 as a non-profit organisation, the Construction Fixings Association (CFA) was set up to encourage and promote best practice for fixings in the construction industry. With a board made up of members from the likes of Hilti, Fischer, Rawlplug, EJOT, ITW, Simpson Strong Tie and Würth, the CFA represents a significant amount of experience that aims to support the “fixings chain” from distributors all the way down to installers with training courses, testing, installation videos and more.
For the latest episode of the Professional Builder Podcast, we sat down with Chris Middleton, General Manager of the CFA, who has over 30 years of experience running fixings and fastening companies, to find out why best practice is important and common mistakes for tradespeople to avoid.
