PDA launches new Power Up Your Business initiative

A comprehensive suite of events and activities designed to Power Up Your Business has been launched by the Painting and Decorating Association (PDA)

With online workshops, a new industry report and further development of the Association’s Paint Green scheme, the Power Up Your Business package aims to provide valuable advice and support to PDA members for free.

The initiative will foster collaboration with members through a new working group, as well as strengthening links with the trade body’s Associate Partners and setting out routes into the industry to aid recruitment.

Neil Ogilvie, Chief Executive at the PDA, said: “The PDA has acted as the collective voice for painters and decorators since 1894, and throughout that time, the Association has provided a range of activities and benefits designed to boost members’ businesses.

“Our Power Up Your Business package is designed to help members access expert information and support, provide networking opportunities and forge new connections.

“We’re building on our Paint Green scheme, working to bridge the skills gap through a ‘school leavers’ pack and ensuring members help shape future events and activities by forming a working group.”

The PDA’s ‘Power Up’ package will also include a new member-only ‘state of the industry’ report, which will be produced under a new partnership between BCIS and the PDA.

Neil Ogilvie added: “The PDA’s Power Up Your Business package presents opportunities for PDA members across all categories to add value to their business, identify new opportunities and gain insights that will be relevant and useful.”
