SIG Roofing is once again partnering with the NFRC to sponsor the Local Roofing Hero Award for 2024. They are encouraging roofers or roofing companies across the UK to nominate unsung heroes so they can be recognised for their charitable work or where they have helped others.
The Local Hero award is one of the categories at the National NFRC awards, an annual event to be held this year on Friday 10th May at the InterContinental – The O2 in London. The event recognises and rewards outstanding standards of workmanship and safety within the UK roofing industry and presents awards across many categories.
SIG Roofing has supported this very special ‘Local Hero’ category for many years, and is asking for entries to be made now through its website at https://www.sigroofing.co.uk/local-hero/. The company is looking for nominations from the roofing community who have made an impact in their local area, whether that be raising funds for charity, working for free for the community or helping to train a youngster. All nominations are free to enter and roofers can self-nominate or can be nominated by someone else that thinks they are worthy of this award. More than one entry can be submitted by a nominee, entries are now open and the closing date is Friday 12th April 2024.

The winner of the Local Hero award will not only receive 2 free tickets to attend this prestiguous event in London and receive their award on stage. They will also get free accommodation in a top London hotel for the evening of the awards and receive holiday vouchers to the value of £2500.

*2024 entry requirements. All category award entries must be roofing contractors that are members of at least one of the following trade organisations:
FTMRC, GRO, LRWA, MAC, MCRMA, SPRA, NFRC, NFRC Competent Person Scheme (formerly known as Competent Roofer).
All activities must have taken place during 2023. Entries must be submitted online. More than one entry can be submitted.
