ANTI-VIRAL PAINT
A quick drying, water-based coating with anti-viral and anti-bacterial properties has been introduced by Dulux Trade. The stain resistant and scrubbable Sterishield Dual Active Matt contains in-film antimicrobial additives that inhibit bacteria and viruses within the paint film reducing MRSA, E. coli, Coronaviruses, Human Herpesvirus and Phi 6 bacteriophage.

DRY RIDGE KIT
Available in black, Klober’s 10m Dry Ridge Kit is perforated to provide a continuous air gap, allowing for air movement within the roof space and avoiding pockets of still, moist air. The all-in-one kit includes all components required to complete a 10m run of ridge and hip ventilation. All kits comply with BS 8612 for performance, BS 5250 for ventilation and BS 5534 for mechanical fixing.

BELOW GROUND DRAINAGE
RootSeal Technology has now been added across the Wavin OsmaDrain range. The natural additive used actively prevents root ingress near joint seals in below ground drainage systems. Blockages caused by root ingress can lead to sewage leakage, pipe breakages and costly repair work.

ACOUSTIC HANGER
The Iso-Mount soundproof ceiling system is designed to significantly reduce unwanted noise from above. Oscar Acoustics Iso-Mount Type1 is designed for timber joist ceilings and achieves minimum ceiling height loss (as little as 6 mm). Type2 allows for installation where plasterboard ceilings cannot be removed, e.g. in listed buildings or under concrete.

COMBI GAS BOILER
The first product of its type capable of delivering hot water to three bathrooms simultaneously is how Navien is describing its NCB700 combi gas boiler. The unit maximises recirculation of domestic hot water (DHW) in applications to significantly reduce water wastage and offer flow rates up to an industry-leading 22 litres per minute (at 35°C temperature rise).
