Successful end to Knauf Insulation roadshow

Over 4,000 free bacon butties were given out to builders across the country last month as part of Knauf Insulation‘s roadshow.

The Feel Good Factor tour was to celebrate the 10th anniversary of ECOSE Technology, Knauf’s bio-based binder for mineral wool insulation. It visited branches of builders’ merchants and distributors, stopping at 36 locations nationwide over 24 days.

Visitors were handed bacon rolls (or a vegetarian option), hot drinks, goodies, literature and samples of Knauf Insulation products featuring ECOSE Technology, so they could feel the difference compared with other mineral wool insulation brands.

“We appreciate builders are very busy and it’s hard in winter” said Vanessa Rae, marketing director at Knauf Insulation. “So we thought we’d show them support – serving them a hot bacon roll and drink first thing in the morning, sharing all the details about our unique technology designed to improve their experience with mineral wool insulation.”

Products made with ECOSE Technology contain no added formaldehyde or phenols, so they are soft to touch and easy to handle. They generate low levels of dust, low VOCs and are environmentally friendly.
