The Hultafors Group has completed the acquisition of the Fristads, Kansas and Leijona protective wear brands. All three are well-known brands in professional workwear with well-established market positions in Sweden, Denmark, and Finland, and will complement the Snickers Workwear brand. The Group already includes Snickers Workwear, Hellberg Safety as well as EMMA, Solid Gear Safety Footwear and Hultafors Tools.


A self-balancing area site light is the latest addition to Makita’s LED solutions. The DML810 18V Self Righting Site Light LXT delivers up to 5,500 lumens (lm) and 360-degree illumination with the option for corded or cordless operation. The design means that it remains upright even when knocked or bumped, and there are three operation modes, High (5,500 lm), Medium (3,000 lm) or Low (1,500 lm), and three illumination direction modes – full 360 degrees or 180 degrees to the left or right.


Also referred to as Light Weight Stagings (LWS), the new WernerCo Lightweight Staging Youngman Boards provide a safe and uninterrupted working platform. These lightweight units are made with aluminium box section stiles for added strength and durability, as well as being easy for tradesmen to transport between locations and set up.
