The Hultafors Group has completed the acquisition of the Fristads, Kansas and Leijona protective wear brands. All three are well-known brands in professional workwear with well-established market positions in Sweden, Denmark, and Finland, and will complement the Snickers Workwear brand. The Group already includes Snickers Workwear, Hellberg Safety as well as EMMA, Solid Gear Safety Footwear and Hultafors Tools.

SITE LIGHT
A self-balancing area site light is the latest addition to Makita’s LED solutions. The DML810 18V Self Righting Site Light LXT delivers up to 5,500 lumens (lm) and 360-degree illumination with the option for corded or cordless operation. The design means that it remains upright even when knocked or bumped, and there are three operation modes, High (5,500 lm), Medium (3,000 lm) or Low (1,500 lm), and three illumination direction modes – full 360 degrees or 180 degrees to the left or right.
STAGING BOARDS
Also referred to as Light Weight Stagings (LWS), the new WernerCo Lightweight Staging Youngman Boards provide a safe and uninterrupted working platform. These lightweight units are made with aluminium box section stiles for added strength and durability, as well as being easy for tradesmen to transport between locations and set up. There’s a maximum load of 300kg and six sizes available, from 3m weighing just 15.7kg up to 6m weighing 35.6kg.
SAFETY FOOTWEAR

FIBREGLASS LADDERS
Traditionally, fibreglass ladders have been seen as a solution for working around electricity, with the non-conductive stiles preventing against electrical shocks. However, WernerCo is reminding the trades fibreglass is extremely resistant to weathering and does not absorb moisture, making it ideal when working in wet or damp environments.
SAFETY TRAINER
Combining the BOA fastening system, with a newly developed NANO toe-cap that’s 40 per cent stronger than fiberglass – whilst lighter and thinner than other non-metallic versions – the Solid Gear Revolution 2 safety trainer is packed with features. The shoe’s stretchable mesh upper with lightweight CORDURA is water-resistant, breathable and flexible, whilst the sole is oil and slip-resistant, with a composite midsole for soft nail protection.

With the HAKI Configurator building professionals can better visualise and estimate simple scaffold structures. Clients can export an estimated bill of materials (BoM), and will be able to export the 3D model to a 3D programme to collaborate on the model with different customers and partners.
