Builders can produce 3D models without needing specialist drawing skills thanks to HBXL‘s PlansXpress software.
HBXL Building Software is marking its 20th anniversary this year with the launch of a brand new version of its CAD software tool. PlansXpress 2020 has a new powerful 3D engine and a huge library of 3D objects, so the user can embellish drawings with tables, chairs, kitchen units, even landscaping, conservatories and porches.
Using the in-built building knowledge the software automatically draws all the detail, and new functions such as a dynamic 3D section tool make the software straightforward for the novice designer to master.
Joanna Mulgrew, group operations director explains, “With this software, if you can build an extension, you can draw an extension, if you can build a house, you can draw a house. And we’re not talking crude sketches. These are professional building plans, elevations and 3D models. And the response already from our customers has been very positive.”
Anyone interested in exploring PlansXpress 2020 can book an online demonstration. A number of extra slots have been made available following increased interest during the Covid-19 crisis. The software can also be trialled for 14-days.
