Find-a-tradesperson platform, Rated People, has appointed Dale Murray CBE to its board as a Non-Executive Director.
In this role, Dale will draw on her strong combination of experience as a tech entrepreneur and highly experienced board director to support and guide the entire team across the business. This varied experience will bring a new level of depth and breadth to Rated People’s board, building on the company’s recent achievements and accelerating its future success.
2021 is proving to be a landmark year for Rated People. Since then, Dale has become a successful tech investor and held board roles in start-up through to listed companies, as well as British government departments. She served on the Business Taskforce for David Cameron in 2013 and received a CBE from Her Majesty the Queen, for services to business.
In addition to her new role with Rated People, Dale is a Non-Executive Director with property finance platform LendInvest plc, financial services specialists The Cranemere Group and Xero, a global cloud accounting software platform listed on the ASX 50.

The company has already developed a reputation as an innovator and is passionate about being a great partner to trades businesses, as well as helping homeowners find skilled tradespeople. That resonates with me, and my love for technology platforms and long history with start-ups and scale-ups will help us build on the achievements to date.
People and culture have always been a priority for me in business; I believe that how we treat each other and our customers is critical to success. Rated People has terrific talent and clearly invests a lot in its culture, which is one of the reasons it has been so successful to date. This is what really stood out for me and why I look forward to helping the business continue its journey.”
