Dulux Trade has launched a newly-updated app designed to help ensure the day-to-day lives of decorators run smoothly. The Dulux Trade Expert app provides multiple solutions to equip hardworking professionals with a host of indispensable features in one place – including integration with the Dulux Trade Colour Sensor.
New features include a quick paint volume calculator, which determines an estimate of how much of a specific paint is required quickly and easily to save valuable time and money. Project folders will also enable users to save information on a project – such as product details and client colour choices – in one easy-to-access area. Available for both iOS and Android devices, the Dulux Trade Expert app replaces the existing Dulux Trade Paint Expert app.
The app continues to offer invaluable tools such as Dulux Visualiser technology to show clients exactly how colours will look on their project, with more colour collections available, as well as access to important information on stockists and product availability. It also links seamlessly to the Dulux Trade Colour Sensor, which previously used a separate app, meaning decorators with the sensor can colour match on the job, check which products can be mixed in the colour, and visualise the colour of a project for a client all in the same place.
The Dulux Trade Colour Sensor is a pocket-sized colour matching tool that gives professionals and their clients an accurate colour match in seconds on the job. It works by scanning the colour of an object and providing the closest colour match from the Dulux Trade collections, allowing decorators to demonstrate their professionalism and expertise by finding the colour of an existing wall, or creating a scheme for a client based on an object they love.

Current Dulux Trade Colour Sensor app users need to download the Dulux Trade Expert app to continue using the sensor.
