Dickies is sponsoring the SkillBuild UK National Final at this year’s WorldSkills UK Live, including clothing and safety footwear for all contestants.
The UK’s largest skills, apprenticeships and careers event, WorldSkills UK Live will be held at the NEC Birmingham on 15-17 November 2018. The SkillBuild element is organised by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and is the largest multi-trade competition in the UK for construction trainees and apprentices. Categories include bricklaying, carpentry, plastering and stonemasonry.
Dickies will provide contestants with workwear, including the Phoenix and Elora style safety trainers, trousers, SkillBuild branded t-shirts and coveralls. Contestants will also receive a hoodie, discount voucher and backpack for taking part, plus winners in all categories will be handed a £50 Dickies voucher.
Competitors reach the SkillBuild UK National Final after competing in the regional qualifiers. The highest scoring medal winners have the opportunity to progress to compete at an international level.
