As a celebration of the Olympic games in Paris, SR Timber has launched a promotion for its merchant and installer customers aptly named ‘Going for Gold’.
Focussed on its PREMIUM GOLD roofing batten, they are asking customers to share their podium-worthy roofing projects that have included this batten to be entered into a prize draw. The winner will receive a weekend break in Paris for two people.
The competition will open on the 8th of July and entries can be submitted online. To enter, simply fill out a short online form here describing the project and upload up to two photos showing the batten in place. By doing so, entrants give permission for the project to be used as a case study on the SR Timber website and shared on their social media channel promoting the excellent workmanship of the roofing contractor. Entries are not limited; multiple entries are encouraged, increasing the chance of winning the prize.
The competition runs until the closing ceremony of the Olympics on August 11th. The winner will be selected and notified by phone and email on August 16th. The prize includes round-trip flights for two people to Paris, private transfers, and a two-night stay in a 4-star hotel with breakfast included.
“Showcasing the work of our customers is a great way to demonstrate the excellent skills of UK roofing contractors.” Said Shaun Revill from SR Timber. “There is some great work being completed around the UK, and we are asking roofing installers to stop and photograph the timber batten before they are covered and allow us to promote it through our website and social channels. It has never been easier to take a decent-quality image with a phone, and that is all we need, along with some basic details of the project, like the size of the roof and the products used. Our PREMIUM GOLD roofing batten, which is fully compliant with BS 5534, is being fitted on sites across the UK every day, and I look forward to viewing the photographs and entries sent to us.”
