Hundreds of builders brought their vans to London’s Brent Cross before descending in convoy to Parliament Square. Their vehicles were transformed into protest placards, whilst loudspeakers and blaring horns delivered the message that enough is enough and much more needs to be done to combat tool theft.
It is ruining livelihoods and businesses and putting intolerable strain on hard working builders. We talked to some of the attendees of the Van Rally about what needs to be done and their own – often shocking – experiences of being victims.
