As all plasterers are aware, preparation is key to ensure the plaster will adhere to non-porous surfaces such as smooth or painted surfaces, tiles, plaster, concrete. This is done with a bonding agent, preferably one that contains added aggregate, thereby providing a rougher texture so offering better adhesion. This is where the new AlphaChem Plasterers’ Grit Coat comes in, a one-coat bonding agent with added fine aggregate designed for exactly this application.
It is easy to apply by roller or brush, and with the easily identifiable Alpha Orange colour, it is simple to ensure full coverage of surfaces.
