Marley Eternit, the UK’s leading roof systems manufacturer has launched a new Slate Grey colour to complement its Melodie Clay Interlocking pantile range, creating a more diverse selection of roofing products for all audiences.

The low pitch Melodie pantile in Slate Grey and Slate Grey Cloak Verges are now available, adding to the Natural Red colour previously available.

The latest addition to the range offers a sleek modern aesthetic to the traditional profile of the tile. The compatible Slate Grey cloak verge and hip & ridge units in Matt Black complement the pantile colour to provide a complete selection of roofing products in Slate Grey.

Daniel Redfern, marketing campaign manager for residential roofing at Marley Eternit, said: “With the popularity for clay tiles continuing to grow, it is important that we are able to provide a diverse selection of colours to suit a wider range of products.

“The Slate Grey combines the natural sweeping profile of a standard pantile roof, providing an inspiring aesthetic with a classic look and finish.”

The Marley Eternit Melodie Clay Interlocking pantile has a market leading minimum pitch of 12.5°, which makes it the perfect option for low pitch extensions and refurbishments where the current development features clay pantiles. The product has design benefits which allow for quick and simple installation which removes the need for specialist skilled labour often required for pantile installation.

Marley Eternit cloak verges provide a strong, weathertight and maintenance-free verge that meets the requirements of BS 5534. These purpose-made and colour-matched verge tiles are fast and simple to install, offering a traditional stepped appearance with the benefit of mechanically fixing the tiles.
