The fit and forget Baxi Assure Shower Heat Recovery Unit (SHRU) range can offer up to 66.6 per cent heat recovery and up to 8 per cent SAP benefits. The SHRU are designed to recover heat from waste bath or shower water via the in-built heat exchanger, which is then transferred to the mains cold water feed to the boiler. This places less energy load on the boiler to raise the temperature to the desired level of comfort.

Building on the trend for industrial style kitchens, Blanco UK has introduced eight sinks across three ranges. Etagon, Vintera and Metra are now available in durable Silgranit in a new concrete colour. The material is anti-bacterial easy to clean and hygienic, with the same tactile qualities as concrete and gradients that differ in each unit just like real polished concrete surfaces.


Tradespeople can offer customers easy shower upgrades with minimal installation work with the Grohe Rainshower SmartActive. Available in 130mm and 150mm sizes, 11 colour finishes – and a round or square design – it can be affixed to any standard shower hose.
