Relaunched earlier this year, the Geocel Trade Mate range includes solutions specifically for roofing. As a premium silicone sealant, Lead and Gutter Seal provides what is described as excellent adhesion for the installation and maintenance of gutter systems and downpipes. It is also suitable for pointing joints between lead flashing and brickwork, masonry and stonework.

Keep interior spaces cool in summer and warm in winter with Recticel’s Eurothane PL. This three-in-one solution features insulation and plasterboard in one quick and easy-to-apply panel, negating the need for a secondary insulation function – and reducing installation times – but with a lambda value of 0.022 W/mK. Provided its joints are filled and taped, the material can also act as your vapour control layer.

Splashback panels are a no-fuss alternative to tiles that are fire retardant, waterproof, scratch resistant and easy to fit. The Alloy range from Wilsonart features 12 patterned, aluminum solutions that can be used wall-to-wall or simply as a hob panel, or installed across the entire width of the kitchen for an uninterrupted design. They are ideal for high traffic areas, rental properties, student accommodation or HMOs.

Wooden sash windows, can improve the aesthetic of a building whilst the material does not discolour over the longer term, and they can be repainted or supplied in a range of colours. That’s the message from Patchett Joinery, which specialises in making sash windows. In addition, thanks to the up and down opening mechanism, there’s no need to stretch over units or furniture to open the window.

With the creation of a distinct department, Quickslide has increased its focus on production of windows, doors and related products for the housebuilding sector. This includes resources that will provide support with areas such as regulatory and statutory demands; product development and design including technology and market trends; logistics; and after-sales support.

A versatile, cost-effective and sustainable option is how West Fraser describes its SterlingOSB Zero. Available in a range of grades, sheet sizes and thicknesses, the panels are easy to saw, drill, nail, plane or file and are suitable for structural use in dry and humid conditions. The manufacturer argues that the material is stronger and tougher than ply, with no knots, voids or delamination issues.

A new door handle has the potential to eradicate millions of pathogens per building, according to its makers. Once the door handle is released, the Tweaq Rise is activated and the peristaltic pump brings the disinfectant liquid from the casing to the sponge inside the ring around the door handle. Installation is under ten minutes and can be used with standard doors with no modifications.

The latest addition to REHAU’s Rio flush fit range is a single open-out door that complements and matches the established Rio window system from the same company. The large glass panel increases the natural light into a room, with a realistic timber or aluminium look but with the benefits of PVCu.

There’s two new finishes and a series of enhancements to Geberit’s Renova Plan bathroom furniture. Now available in Hickory Light and Hickory – in addition to existing White high gloss coated and Lava matt coated – the new colours match those available in the company’s Selnova Square S product. There’s also an improved drawer system, more space, new hinges and upgrades to the internal panels.
