Sell House Fast has surveyed architects, engineers and construction professionals to discover the sustainable building materials they predict will be popular in 2020.
The research showed that bamboo had the most backers, with 74 per cent of those surveyed expecting it to see the greatest use in the property industry next year. Straw bales closely followed at 69 per cent, while only 38 per cent predicted that cork will be used.
