Hansgrohe’s Installer Academy launches technical training courses

Hansgrohe’s Installer Academy has opened its doors with free training sessions now being offered to plumbers and bathroom installers looking to expand their knowledge of the brand’s product portfolio and how to install its most popular bathroom solutions.

Hosted at Hansgrohe’s state-of-the-art facilities in Warwick, the Installer Academy courses provide a unique blend of hands-on practical training and theory, featuring an initial focus on the popular iBox 2 installation and servicing. Attendees will gain valuable insights, from maintaining Hansgrohe products to fault finding, all while experiencing the new, cutting-edge training space.

The company opened its purpose-built HQ in Warwick in April last year, which includes a purpose-built training centre, designed to deliver first-class, hands-on training for trade professionals. Designed “for professionals, by professionals”, the training centre is equipped with purpose-built zones that reflect real-world installer challenges, such as pipework stations and testing areas.

Designed to give installers an all-round understanding of the products, fitting requirements and performance, before they head out to site, training courses are free to attend and will be taking place throughout the rest of the year.

Keith Dyson, National Technical Sales Manager at Hansgrohe, shared his excitement about the new facility, saying: We are incredibly passionate about making sure installers are not only assured with their ability to install Hansgrohe products, but also confident in the quality of our products and ease of maintenance – which is why we launched these courses.

“The training room has been designed around the needs of installers to ensure they leave with practical knowledge and confidence. Our aim is to make their job easier through hands-on experience and expert guidance. We want to support them every step of the way.”

The course overview
Course attendees will enjoy an exclusive tour of the Warwick Water Studio, a hub of inspiration and innovation, and will receive a goody bag worth £75, which includes a flow cup for measuring water flow. Additionally, attendees will earn 50 Talisman points as part of Hansgrohe’s Talisman Loyalty Programme that gives professionals who install Hansgrohe and AXOR products an opportunity to gain points which can be transferred into cash benefits.

Sam Clipsham, Director of PipePros Plumbing and Heating Ltd, attended a training session in May and said: “It was a fantastic experience. Garrick and Moley delivered the session brilliantly — it was packed with valuable information that will really help me when promoting Hansgrohe products to clients. The quality of the products speaks for itself, and the all-inclusive 5-year warranty gives real peace of mind. The hospitality was spot on, with great food, plenty of drinks, and even a bag of goodies to take away. A very worthwhile and enjoyable day — thanks again to the Hansgrohe team!”

The training sessions are designed to run from 10:30am to 3pm, with a structure that includes 60% practical work and 40% theory. Participants will cover essential topics such as iBox 2 installation, product servicing, fault finding, and troubleshooting. Attendees will also get a free lunch provided on the day.
