Gavin Mann, winner of the uvex 3 construction boots from the May Professional Builder giveaway, tells us what he thinks of his new boots.
As many of you will already know, we have a monthly giveaway here at Professional Builder. One of the prizes in our May Free For All was a pair of uvex 3 construction boots.
We got in touch with Gavin Mann of G M Building Services, a one man band with over 30 years of experience in the trade, who was the lucky winner of the boots.
The uvex 3 boasts a host of features designed for comfort as well as safety. These include ankle impact protection, waterstop technology and a jagged deep tread pattern for better foot purchase. There’s also anti-fatigue, energy return technology in the soles to reduce foot, leg and back strain.
Here’s what Gavin had to say about his new boots: “I really like the look of them and have found them really comfortable. Far more so than the ones I had been wearing upto then. It’s really unusual to get boots that feel so comfortable without having to wear them in but they were great straight away. Also so much easier to take off without having to loosen laces.”
