Bradstone’s national landscaping awards celebrates the very best from its Assured Installers

Paving manufacturer Bradstone has celebrated another year of achievements of its Assured Installers through its annual national landscaping awards. The awards saw ten category winners with a handful of further highly commended and commended runners up, due to the overwhelmingly high standard of competition this year.

Now in its tenth year, the awards comprise of a variety of categories, from Most Challenging Project to Best Driveway, as well as the highly sought after Landscaper of the Year accolade. They are designed to recognise landscapers that have demonstrated excellent levels of workmanship, design expertise and customer service.

This year’s winner of the much-acclaimed Landscaper of the Year category was PB Landscapes of Melbourne, for his continued dedication and support for the Assured Scheme, and the stunning level of workmanship on his projects this year. PB Landscapes has been a member of the Bradstone Assured Scheme since its conception in 2011, and this is the first time they have won the top prize.

Speaking of his win, Paul Bignall, Owner of PB Landscapes, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been recognised for our workmanship and the quality of our creative landscape designs, especially in such highly a competitive category. It’s no secret that we’ve had our eye on Landscaper of the Year for a number of years, so to win this category in the tenth year of the awards is a real highlight in my career and for our business.”

Meanwhile, the recipient of the Employee/Apprentice of the Year award, which was co-judged by the TASK Academy, was Eliot Johnson at Alfresco Landscaping. As well as winning the accolade, Eliot has received two courses of his choosing with TASK, to continue his professional development.

After receiving the award, Eliot commented: “It is such a rewarding feeling to be recognised as Employee of the Year by Bradstone. I would like to thank Alastair for his time and patience mentoring me, and also to my team leaders for giving me the chance to learn and improve. I look forward to future projects and developing my knowledge in this industry through my training with TASK.”
