BlueSecur app from Garador

Garador has launched the BlueSecur App to operate its garage doors.

Garador’s new BlueSecur app works with its GaraMatic operators to mean that the opening, closing, partially opening and operator light can all be controlled through your smartphone (via the app) or smart home system (via Amazon Alexa or Google Home Hub).

New models

There are three models to choose from in the new Series 4 generation of GaraMatic garage door operators:

BlueSecur app (android and iOS)

With this new technology you can achieve a fully automated garage door, controlled directly from your smartphone or smart home device. The GaraMatic 10 and GaraMatic 20 both have a built-in Bluetooth receiver and HCP-bus connector; the former of which allows control via an android or iOS smartphone and the latter of which enables control via a smart home system. The new GaraMatic 9 is not supplied with a Bluetooth receiver, but one can be purchased as an option and fitted retrospectively. The BlueSecur app is free to download for android and ios, and includes one free user key with the app, so that a one person with a smartphone can have access. But additional user keys can be purchased for additional smartphone users via the app.

The built in mechanical lock also provides an extra layer of security to ensure no one can forcibly open the garage door. Even in a power cut, the door cannot be forced open.

Energy-saving lighting

All the new models also feature energy saving integral LED lighting to give powerful and even illumination across the inside of the garage, with the GaraMatic 20 the most powerful with 30 built in LED lights. This lighting system reflects modern trends to reduce energy use; in standby mode for instance, the operator consumes less that 1-watt of electricity.

Micro handhelds

For those who still prefer a physical remote hand transmitter to open and close their garage door, Garador still provide two 4-button hand transmitters (868MHz) in the box. Their small and lightweight design fits comfortably into any pocket and includes a keyring eyelet for attaching to sets of keys.

Easy to fit, easy to setup

Garador’s new Series 4 GaraMatic operators have been designed to ensure installation is quick and easy. A larger and more accessible connection compartment on the back of the operator makes the integrated circuit board easy to access.
