BATTERY ELECTRIC MINI EXCAVATOR

The CASE Construction Equipment CX15 EV is a 1.3t mini excavator powered by a 16kW electric motor and 21.5kWh lithium-ion battery. It features retractable tracks that gets machine width down to 790mm for going through doors and working in confined spaces. It can also work very close to structures and obstacles with a minimum swing radius design.

MINI-EXCAVATORS

The zero tail swing and reduced radius design of the Doosan DX50Z-7 and DX55R-7 makes them ideal for work in confined spaces. In addition, both machines offer what the manufacturer describes as the highest power and torque in their class and cover a wide range of applications, including heavy duty work. www.eu.doosanequipment.com

NEXT-GENERATION MINI-EXCAVATOR

Compact, versatile, robust and reliable – that’s what Yanmar Compact Equipment EMEA is saying about its ViO17 zero tail swing mini-excavator. MONEY-SAVING FUEL CARD

In response to rising fuel prices, UK Fuels has launched the Fleetone fuel card, giving guaranteed discounts of up to 10 pence per litre on both diesel and unleaded. With access to the UK’s largest independent fuel card network of more than 4,100 fuel stations, the card is accepted at more than 80 per cent of supermarket fuel stations and over 70 per cent of motorway fuel stations.

PICK-UP

The latest Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Amarok will be launched in 2022 with a whole host of new features, including driver assistance systems. Still powered by a V6-TDI engine, the exterior has been redefined, and interior comfort enhanced, whilst the manufacturer promises plenty of towing power and torque.

VEHICLE ACCESSORIES

The popular rear step parking sensor integration product, Connect+®, from Rhino Products is now available for the Renault Master and Vauxhall Vivaro platforms. The system integrates each OEM sensor into the step via a simple ‘plug and play’ cable. The vans sensors then work as normal, with the added reassurance that the step at the rear of the vehicle is also protected when reversing.

RANGER

Developed by Ford Performance, the Next-Gen Ranger Raptor derivative of the Ford Ranger benefits from a twin-turbo 3.0-litre EcoBoost V6 petrol engine producing 288PS and 491Nm of torque. In addition, a unique chassis and suspension upgrades ensures the vehicle can handle punishing off-road conditions.

E-TRANSIT

The all-electric Ford E-Transit’s suite of driver assistance systems has earned the commercial vehicle a Gold Award from independent vehicle safety authority Euro NCAP. The technologies include autonomous emergency braking when approaching vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians, as well as lane keeping technology, traffic sign recognition and occupant monitoring systems.

HYDROGEN

The SUEZ Group has been conducting real world trials of the Citroën ë-Jumpy Hydrogen. The vehicle has a 248-mile range, quick refuelling times, with a complete refuel taking just 6 minutes from a 350 bar pump, while stations fitted with a 700 bar pump can refill in half that time. The 10.5kWh battery – providing a 31-mile backup power supply if the hydrogen tanks run out – is very easy to charge on a standard 230V socket.
