PICK-UP

Developed by Ford Performance, the Next-Gen Ford Ranger Raptor pick-up introduces a twin-turbo 3.0-litre EcoBoost V6 engine, FOX Live Valve dampers, and seven selectable drive modes. Inside there’s 12.4in. all-digital cluster and 12in. central touchscreen – boasting the manufacturer’s SYNC 4A connectivity and entertainment system.

It’s the larger 75kWh battery in the Vauxhall Movano-e that improves vehicle range by up to 15 extra miles, allowing drivers to travel up to 154 miles (WLTP) from a single charge. The battery is coupled with a 120PS electric motor with maximum torque of 260Nm, delivering instant responsiveness with no vibrations and a smooth driving experience.

Six new variants have been added to the to the Isuzu D-Max portfolio, expanding the customer choice from 11 to 17 models. The new versions mainly fall within the Business range, with automatic transmission now available for Utility Extended Cab, Utility Double Cab and DL20 Extended Cab vehicles, for example.

E-LCV

A high level spec and contemporary and stylish look is the promise for the MAXUS electric pick-up. The T90EV has a range of 198 miles/320 kms (WLTP city) and a payload of 740kg. At the driver’s seat a 10.25in. digital touch screen instrument cluster is complemented by a neat dashboard design and floor console and roomy interior.

VW AMAROK

The latest generation of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles’ Amarok features four-door DoubleCab and two- door SingleCab models. An increased length and longer wheelbase creates more room in   the cab, there’s no less than 20 new driver assist systems as well as LED headlights and ‘ACC’ Adaptive Cruise Control as  standard.

VAN CRIME


Van owners who fall victim to crime are being urged to contribute to a new national online database launched by van security specialist, TVL Security – and backed by police. The ‘Tell TVL’ initiative asks those who have had their vans stolen, or items stolen from their vans, to report it at www.tellTVL.co.uk, in addition to reporting the crime to police. Tell TVL will then create the UK’s first real-time national database.

A new artificial intelligence vehicle safety system is able to calculate the future course of motion of nearby people or objects. Based on this data, the system reliably and accurately warns the driver in real time of a possible collision before it occurs. CarEYE from Brigade Electronics is suitable for vans and can be retrofitted to existing vehicles.

SPECIAL EDITION VAN


Designed to catch the eye, the MAN Truck and Bus Special Edition TGE Individual Lion S features red-weave carbon-look elements, striking front end, black chrome badging and red highlights. There’s also black 10-spoke 17in. alloy wheels which cover motorsport lead red brake calipers, as well as a stainless-steel trim to the lower front bumper to the grille.
