Professional Builder looks at the latest introductions from ToughBuilt
Following on from the release of its heavy-duty Quick Set Workbench in April, ToughBuilt manufacturer hasn’t slowed down on its commitment to product development with some exciting new offerings now available.
A magazine without issues
ToughBuilt’s Reload Utility Knife maximises jobsite productivity by reducing the amount of time required to change blades.” explains Matt Handley, the company’s European Head of Marketing. “It features a removeable ‘quick-eject’ magazine which can be preloaded with five blades ready for immediate use. The magazine also has space to securely store 10 further blades behind a snap shut door. Changing magazines can be completed in seconds.”
“Once the magazine is loaded into the knife, a safe release button allows the knife’s existing blade to be removed quickly before a fresh blade can be driven into position with the simple slide of a thumb. This entire process takes just seconds.”
Each tool is supplied with two separate magazines and a pack of five versatile straight blades and five ultra-durable hook nose blades. The Reload Knife is the latest invention from the manufacturer and follows in the footsteps of the manufacturer’s Scraper Utility Knife, the world’s first 2-in-1 scraper and utility knife.
Bags of benefits
ToughBuilt has also recently extended its inter-connectable ClipTech range which allows trade professionals to work smarter than ever before. “The range now features over 50 products. It consists of heavy-duty tool bags, pouches, totes, belts and accessories and offers enormous flexibility. Again, the purpose of ClipTech is to save time on the jobsite by encouraging customisation in how a professional carries their tools and equipment.
“There are dozens of different styles and sizes of pouch, each designed for a specific trade, job or task, and each can be attached to any belt, as well as carried with our Hard Body Tool Bags or hung on a Wall Organiser” says Matt.
“Central to the ability to tailor loads and layouts in seconds is our unique ClipTech Hub. These hubs can be used to attach ClipTech products virtually anywhere with the complete peace of mind of knowing that once attached, the item will stay securely in place.”
He continues: “By enabling the trade professional to carry only what they need when they need it and to have everything they need for a specific task within immediate reach, the system reduces trips to the van, therefore boosting efficiency and productivity.” Specifically ToughBuilt has added two new Hard Body Massive Mouth Tool Bags – a Medium and XL version of the zip-up, soft carry-handle variety. Both feature the patented Massive Mouth opening which opens wider than other tool bags on the market, ensuring better visibility of and accessibility to the bag’s contents.
The bags also feature a ClipTech bar and hub, enabling users to attach different multiple ClipTech pouches. Plus, to ensure they can cope with even the most arduous site environments, the new bags are impact tested, have a fully waterproof base and are made with high-quality, rugged materials complete with reinforced rivets.
ToughBuilt has also launched a Medium Hard Body Tool Tote, which offers all the same rugged construction and ClipTech-compatibility benefits of the Massive Mouth Bags but has a heavy-duty folding handle and open mouth for even quicker access.
On a roll
After the successes of the Large and X-Large Rolling Massive Mouth Bags, the range just got even bigger. The new XX-Large Rolling Massive Mouth is the company’s largest bag to date, with extreme load potential and volume capacity making it the perfect choice for carrying huge payloads or the very heaviest tools and supplies.
It features a full-width ClipTech bar, allowing the option to hold up to three ClipTech Pouches, and solid off-road wheels and a telescopic handle for fuss-free transportability.
All the new products are backed by a two-year guarantee as standard with the option to increase this to 25-years if users register their purchase.
