Can I use your Roll Fix Kit with a mono ridge?
Unfortunately, this is not possible as the Roll Fix has been designed to be used with standard ridges, including capped ridged tiles.
Do I need to ventilate when using Permo extreme?
Yes: Permo extreme is considered a non-breather (HR) membrane, this means you should ventilation to BS 5250 depending on if it is a warm or cold roof. If warm: 25mm continuous opening at eaves, plus 5mm high level ventilation either side; or 5mm at ridge. If used for a cold roof application, then 50mm gap between insulation and underlay and 10mm continuous opening at eaves, plus 5mm high level ventilation.
Do I need to use a batten end clip to secure Uni-Click Dry Verge in accordance to the recent BS 8612 standard?
No. While batten end clips ensure the best fixing when using ring shank nails, you can use flat head screws to achieve the same result.
