JCB is searching the country to find the nation’s most heroic tradespeople, in a new community campaign entitled JCB Heroes.
The workwear specialist would like to reward those who volunteer their time to help charities, good causes or local community groups with a special award in recognition of all their hard work, plus a 12-month clothing sponsorship worth over £500.
Applicants must be a professional tradesperson such as; a plumber, decorator, builder, roofer, landscape gardener, electrician, joiner or farmer. They should either volunteer their time or their expertise to help others and make a positive impact on a community group or not-for-profit organisation to be in with a chance of winning this prestigious award.
Joanne Dyson from JCB Workwear said: “We know that tradespeople often volunteer for services such as fire and rescue or use their skills to help community groups with costly repairs and maintenance.
“We want to find these unsung heroes, who play such an important role in their community and say thank you! If you know someone who fits this description, perhaps a colleague, we would urge you to nominate them so that they receive the recognition that they deserve.”
Applications should be made before the before 15th June 2017. To apply or to nominate someone please visit: www.jcbworkwear.com/uk/2017/05/job-heroes.
