Bullseye! Professional Builder Visits Builders in a Vauxhaull Vivaro Sportive

Professional Builder continues in its search for sporting greatness amongst the nation’s builders in our Vauxhall Vivaro Sportive.

It’s not just the ply and plaster varieties that are archetypal builders’ boards because Bobby George, Simon Whitlock and Mark Webster are just some of the stars of darts who have swapped hammer and nails for the world of arrows and oche.

In fact, with the likes of Scott Waites still combining a job as a carpenter with triumph in the British Darts Organisation Championship, builders have hit the bullseye when it comes to sporting success in the nation’s most popular pub game. So what better sport to bring to the nation’s building sites with our Vauxhall Vivaro long term loan?

Professional Builder has been touring the land in our 1.6CDTI, 120hp Sportive with a host of great prizes and this month three surrey spreaders can hit treble top with the chance to win a dart board and darts – and all they have to do is score a double twenty and a bullseye.

One of the most British of pastimes meets the most British of vans; vehicles have actually been rolling from Vauxhall’s Luton production line since as far back as 1905, with the Vivaro joining the list of models built at the Bedfordshire plant in 2001, and today it stands alone as the only surviving light commercial vehicle manufacturing facility in the country.

The first generation Vivaro lasted nearly as long as Phil ‘the power’ Taylor’s reign at the very top of the pantheon of darts players, with 13 years passing before it was revamped. Now Vivaro customers can enjoy an all new body, interior and additional features besides.

There’s two wheelbases and two roof heights available, with all models featuring a front end with sizeable headlights and a distinctively aggressive grille.

If, like us, you opt for the Sportive trim then LED daytime running lights will be yours as standard.

At the business end the load area benefits from 100mm in additional length, whilst under the bonnet an economical choice of engines includes a 118bhp BiTurbo that will deliver 47.9mpg on the combined cycle.
